360 Health Check | £ 545 | 45 minute appointment 

Cardiac, Respiratory, Vascular, Bowel, Skin and breast/prostate check

• Pulse, blood pressure, heart, lung, blood vessel ,abdominal, skin and examination.

• Blood tests for Anaemia, bone marrow health, cholesterol, diabetes, vitamin b12, Folic acid, iron and mineral levels, muscle inflammation, gout,  kidney, thyroid  and liver function as well as bowel screening.

• Male clients are offered testosterone level hormone profile and Prostate screening*             

• Female clients are offered female hormone profile with ovarian cancer blood test screening and breast check*.

• Resting 6 lead ECG ( Heart Trace)

• Urine test for invisible protein, blood, inflammation and glucose

• You will receive a written report of the assessment and any suggested issues to address or follow up

General Health and Lifestyle Check-up | £375 | 30 minute appointment

• Pulse, blood pressure , heart and lung examination

• Blood tests for Diabetes,Anaemia, Bone marrow health,Vitamin B12 , Vitamin D, Iron levels, cholesterol, liver and kidney function

• Urine test for invisible protein, blood, inflammation and glucose.

• If you wish to add further investigatiosn such as coeliac, bowel cancer  or particular hormone profiles these can be added in with POA.

Vascular Assessment | £350 | 30 minute appointment

Heart and blood vessel examination including assessment for abdominal aneurysm. 

• Heart, pulse, blood pressure and blood vessel examination of your neck, abdomen and legs

• Blood tests for Anaemia: Cholesterol, Diabetes and Kidney Function 

• Urine check for invisible protein, blood, inflammation and glucose

• Resting 6 lead ECG ( Heart Trace)

Respiratory Check | £200 | 20 minute appointment

Assessment of your lungs and their function

• A full respiratory examination- hands, glands, throat, nose and lungs.

• Near patient spirometry, ( Lung function test)

• Possible further recommendations depending on findings

Bowel Cancer Check  | £200  | 15 minute appointment

Face to face consultation that includes physical examination, a full blood count to exclude anaemia and a Qfit bowel screening test. This is offered to everyone aged 50-74 in a 2 yearly basis within the NHS. However, if you wish to undertake this check up outwith these parameters this is the consultation for you.

• Consultation to ascertain if any symptoms related to bowel

• Abdominal and rectal examination*

• Blood test to check for signs of anaemia 

• Qfit test - faecal sample testing for antibodies to invisible blood within the bowel

Urinary Symptom Check | £180 | 15 minute appointment

If you have concerns regarding prostatic, testicular or urinary symptoms or simply wish to have a screening examination and test.

• Consultation regarding current concerns +/- symptoms

• Blood test for PSA, ( Prostate blood marker) and Kidney function

• Urine check for protein, blood, inflammation and glucose

• Examination of  abdomen, testicles +/- prostate*

Non Acute Ailment GP Appointment | £250 | 30 minute appointment

If you are not quite feeling yourself but your symptoms don't fit into any of our above assessments this option is for you. It allows you to book a 30 minute appointment to discuss your problems, be examined by Dr McGaughey and thereafter decide how to proceed in terms of investigations, referrals or treatments.

Skin check: Price dependant on area- see below

Mole/skin lesion check with digital documentation and written report of areas to monitor/ action required. If agreed we can also provide prescriptions for medication or further treatments for lesion removal.

Diagnostics and Tests: 

We can carry out a number of bloods tests depending on your concerns and wishes. The following list is an example of commonly requested tests but is not exhaustive. If you can't find what you require please get in touch.

• Full Blood Count: Checks for signs of anaemia and gives a quantification of the number of infection fighting and clotting cells in your blood.

• HbA1c: Your average blood sugar over  the previous 3 months. Can diagnose and guide management of diabetes and pre diabetes.

• Coeliac Serology: a blood test to assess if you may be allergic to Gluten, ( Note is only accurate if you have not already excluded gluten from your diet).

• Liver function: assesses you livers production and filtering functions as well as looking for signs of inflammation in the liver cells or a blockage to the drainage .

• Kidney Function: Your kidneys are your filters. This blood test gives a pretty good assessment of how they are doing and can pick up problems before symptoms show.

• PSA: Prostate blood test. Increases with some prostate cancers and with an enlarged prostate. We would always recommend a full assessment if you are having symptoms, ( see health assessments above) but that's your decision to make.

• Cholesterol: A risk factor for vascular disease and there are several genetic conditions that pre-dispose to high levels.

• Thyroid Function: Dictates how the cells in your body function. High or low levels can require treatment and further investigation to prevent complications.
